EDUCATION AND ATTITUDES

These were high school students. From the survey data, it is worth placing their attitudes in context relative to those of individuals with different education levels. This is best done with cross-tabulating views from the Pew survey data considered in chapter 1 with education levels. (The education levels of Pew respondents are found in appendix B, table B-2. I also confirm the results with regressions, which account for education, age, income, province, gender, and urbanity; unless otherwise noted, the regression results reveal the same patterns as the cross-tabulations.)
